This year, while many expected queues to be for the matches on Monday. Most were for Tuesday. Only one match was quite packed on Monday, and it was the one Novak Djokovic was playing on. Tuesday saw Roger Federer hit the courts, as well as Rafael Nadal.

Surprisingly, most of the audience were off to see Roger or Rafa for the first time. No, these were not the hardcore fans who follow them everywhere.

For Roger Federer, he feels quite at home as he won his first ever Major here. He has now a record of eight titles after reaching 11 finals. If he is able to reach the semi-final round this year, he will become the first player to ever win 100 matches at a single Major. However, there is still a lot to do.

At Wimbledon, Federer got to face one of the young star Lloyd Harris, who idolized him since he was still very young. When asked about his match with Federer, Harris said, “I’ve been watching him all my life… Now I’m here and I’m going to play against him. It’s just something special for me.”

Nadal, on the other hand, is playing his first ever tournament since he won his 12th title at the French Open. His opponent is 30-year old Japanese, Yuichi Sugita.
