The term "Home and Away" refers to two teams playing as the Home and Visitors during the Match. This is often called the home advantage, home ground, or homecourt advantage. What's great is playing football is both teams will be given opportunities to play in their homecourt. This would eventually give each team to have a benefit in winning the match.

Many people can testify that being in their homecourt can give a lot of advantages. The first one is the number of people swarming up in the field in support of their team and the second advantage is the home team's capabilities to memorize their field. Home and Away are also used in other major sports, such as basketball, baseball, and hockey. Given the same motives and intentions to give a fair fight, each team still has to perform very well to win each match. For instance, the record for NBA regular season in 2018-19 season, the house team recorded 71% of total winnings the away team won the remaining 29%.
