Being Hard Man is a difficult job because these players have to defend their teammates from the opponents. Each hard man may be compared to a devil's snare because of their tight grip. They often come muscular compared to the other members of the team, because they have to go physical with the opposing team.

Football is a strenuous activity and what made it harder is when a hard man blocked you from keeping a goal. One disadvantage of being a hard man is they are usually involved in rumbles and fights. Because of their position to defend the team, they are always compromised to violate rules, and they often received punishment for these violations. With Stoichkov's personality and physicality combined, it's never a shock that they'll receive hard punishment, such as banning.

This has to depend on the player's personality and the management of his temper. Although they are known to be protective of the game, they have to instill the value of sportsmanship during and after the match. Many hard men have gone off successful in their careers because of their undisputed love for the sports and team. Nevertheless, whether they are using their physical advances towards the enemy too much if they can still control their temper, then their careers would last a lifetime.
