The town of Bahia Blanca is host to Club Bella Vista, a Torneo Argentino B division football team. The club was formed in 1921 and plays its home games at the Estadio Albino Gonzo, a 4000 seater stadium in Bahia Blanca. Alfio Basile, a former Argentine national team manager was part of the team’s youth squad at one time. Basile led Argentina to two Copa America titles during his reign as the manager. Rodrgio Palacio, in his youth days, was also a part of the team.
