Londrina Esporte Clube, commonly referred to as Londrina, is a Brazilian soccer team based in the city of Londrina, located in the southern state of Paraná. Established on April 5, 1956, the club has a rich history and a passionate fan base. While originally playing at the Vitorino Gonçalves Dias stadium, they now call the Estádio do Café their home, a venue specifically built for their participation in the 1976 Brazilian league championship.

History

Londrina experienced its golden era from 1976 to 1982, competing in Brazil's top division for a total of six seasons. Although they faced relegation in 1980, the club bounced back to claim their only national title by winning the second division championship. Throughout their history, Londrina has also showcased their talent in state competitions, securing the Campeonato Paranaense title four times and dominating the Campeonato do Interior Paranaense with twelve victories.

The club's moment in the spotlight continued in 2013 when they topped the general classification of the Campeonato Paranaense. Despite not advancing to the state championship final, they triumphed in the Interior final, paving their way to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the fourth tier of the Brazilian league system. This achievement also granted them a spot in the draw for the First Round of the Copa do Brasil.
