The Timor-Leste national football team is Timor-Leste national team which is controlled by the Federação de Futebol de Timor-Leste. Timor-Leste is also known as East Timor and is a state situated in Southeast Asia. The team never got a chance on any international matches, and presently, this team is known to be one of the weakest teams in the world.

This team joined FIFA in 2005. They also have a nickname, O Sol Nascente (The Raising Sun). The head coach of this team is Clodoaldo, with the captain being Alfredo Esteves. The maximum caps were made by Diamantino Leong with the top scores being made by Emilio da Silva, which is 4 scores. The home stadium of this team is the East Timor National Stadium.

The kit of this team is provided by top manufacturers like the Nike and Adidas. The home matches kit is a red jersey, red shorts with red socks. The away kit is a white jersey, black shorts followed by red or white socks. When playing for the Tiger Cup, the kit is provided by Tiger. The team kit during this period is red jersey, black shorts and red socks with the away kit being white jersey, black shorts and white socks. The jersey has two black sleeves.

In the near future, the team will have a football campaign with some potential players like Chris Nunes and Nahuel Arrarte. Nunes plays for the Marconi Stallions Football Club and Arrarte too plays for the club. Both these players will gain the Timor-Leste Citizenship after which they will proceed to play for the club. This team has two training camps which are in Australia and Brazil, where the team has their camping sites, visited mostly on summer and winter season.
