Neftchi Baku is an Azerbaijani football club based in the capital Baku. They currently feature in the AFFA Supreme League.

Neftchi Baku were established in 1937 as Neftyanik. In 1968 they were rechristened as Neftchi. They played in the Soviet Top League in three spells for a total of 23 years. They finished third in the Soviet Top League in 1966, the highest finish for any Azerbaijani side in the Soviet era.

Neftchi Baku are one of the strongest clubs in Azerbaijan in the modern era. They have won the league four times and won the CIS Cup in 2006. Baku have also won the Azerbaijan Cup five times. They finished third in the league in the 2007-2008 season.

Neftchi Baku play their home matches at the Tofig Bakhramov Republican Stadium that can accommodate 29,000 spectators. They bear the nicknames “Black-losers” and “Oil Workers”.
