Birkirkara FC is a Maltese football club based in the town of Birkirkara. They currently feature in the Maltese Premier League and are one of six Maltese clubs to have won all five major honours in the nation.

Birkirkara FC were established in 1950 after Birkirkara United and Birkirkara Celtic were merged together. In the 1951-1952 season they regained promotion to the First Division and finished second in the division in the 1952-1953 season. They also reached the final of the Cassar Cup that season.In the 1960s Birkirkara flirted with the first and the second division, althought they did win the Sons of Lakta Cup in 1967-1968. In the 1970s they played in the Maltese top flight regularly and reached the final of the FA Trophy for the first time time in their history.

Birkirkara won the Maltese Premier League for the first time in their history in the 1999-2000 season and then again in the 2005-2006 season. They won the MFA Trophy four times.

Birkirkara FC play their home matches at the Intetti Ground that can accommodate 12,500 spectators. They bear the nicknames “Stripes” and “Tar-Rahal”.
