FC Honka is a Finnish football club based in Tapiola. They currently feature in the Finnish Premier Division.
FC Honka were originally established in 1953 as Tapion Honka. They assumed their current name in 1975. At the start of the 21st century, the club almost went bankrupt but were saved in the eleventh hour.
In early 2005 FC Honka were taken over by Jouko Pakarinen and Jouko Harjunpaa. The club’s fortunes changed for the better after that and they reached the finals of the Finnish Cup in 2007 and 2008.

FC Honka play their home matches at the Tapiolan Urheilupuisto that can accommodate 6,000 spectators. They bear the nickname “The Honkies”.
