Based in Trujillo, Club Deportivo Universidad Cesar Vallejo is a Peruvian football club, founded in 1996. It was promoted into the Peruvian First Division in 2003, though faced relegation in 2005. But they managed to regain a spot in the top division in 2007, after bagging the Segunda Division Peruana. They are also the winners of Copa Peru in 2003.
