Alianza Atlético

Alianza Atletico are a football team based out of the Peruvian city of Sullana. Founded in 1928, Atletico took 60 years to make it to top flight football and have since stayed there, although without any silverware. They have had two seasons in the Copa Sudamericana where they only managed to reach the Preliminary stage in 2004 and the first round in 2005. Their home stadium, the Campeones del 36, holds 8,000 people when packed to the brim.
