Brasiliense Futebol Clube

Brasiliense Futebol Clube is a team based out of Distrito Federal. The team was founded in 2000 by a businessman called Luiz Estevao. Estevao bought Atlantida Futebol Clube and renamed it to Brasiliense. The team is very young in terms of time in the Brazilian league but has, yet, managed to make an impact. In 2002, Brasilience won the Serie C title as well as finished runner-up in the Copa do Brasil. The team as won all 5 consecutive state championships in 2004 till date and as also won the Serie B title in 2004.

Brasilience plays its home games at the Serejao stadium. the stadium was established in 1978 and has a capacity of 32,000 spectators.
