Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors Football Club is a Korean football club based in Jeonju, Jeonbuk. They currently feature in the K League.

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors were established in January 1993 as Wansan FC by Hyung-Kun and were the first team to be named after a home location in the K League.

Wansan FC soon sank into bankruptcy but were taken over by a local alcohol manufacturer Bobae Ltd and joined the K League in 1994 as “Jeonbuk Buffalo FC”. They were soon entrusted to the KPFL and then on December 12,1994 they were taken over by Hyuandai Motors.

The club won the Korean FA Cup in 2000, 2003 and again in December 2005, becoming one of only two clubs in Korean to have won the FA Cup on more than one occasion. They won the AFC Champions League in 2006, becoming the first club from east Asia to win the competition since its current forma in 2003, and played in the World Club Cup that year.

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors play their home matches at the Jeonju Castle that has a capacity of 43,348. They bear the nickname the Greens.
