Araguaina Futebol e Regatas are a Brazilian football club based out of the town of Araguaina, in the state of Tocantis in Brazil. The team is relatively new in the Brazilian football structure and plays its home games at the local municipal stadium. Araguaina have been part of the Serie C championships after their Campeonato Tocantinense title of 2006. The club was fined 12 championship points after they fielded an ineligible player for two of their matches.
