Jeremy Toulalan, born on 10th September 1983 in France, is a professional footballer who plays for the French national football team. In Ligue 1, he plays for Malaga. He was also a part of FC Nantes from 2001 to 2006. Standing six feet tall, Toulalan plays as defensive midfielder who can also be utilized as a central defender when needed.

Toulalan started his career with youth academy of FC Nantes. His first-team debut came during the season of 2001-02. In 94 league appearances made for the club, he scored one goal. In 2006, he moved to Olympique Lyonnais. He made his debut for Lyon in a match played against Nantes, his former club. He featured in 146 Ligue 1 matches for Lyon in five years at the club, winning the league title in 2007 and 2008.

Toulalan joined Malaga from Lyon in 2011 and has established himself as an important part of the Andalucian club. He helped them finish in the top four in La Liga in 2011-12.

Toulalan has been a part of Under-18s, Under-19s and Under-21s team of France. He made his international debut in a game played against Faroe Islands in Euro 2008 qualifiers. After his impressive performance with his club Lyon, he was included in the twenty-three men squad selected for UEFA Euro 2008 and was one of those few who initiated all the 3 group stage games. Till now he has made 36 appearances for the national team.
