Henrik Larsson, also known as “Henke” is a Swedish International footballer striker and a football manager. He was born on September 20, 1971 in Helsingborg, Sweden. He is married Magdalena Spjuth in 1996, and have two children Jordan and Janice.
Larsson started playing football when he was six years old at Högaborg BK, and he became a professional player of that team at the age of 17, he stayed in that team from 1977 to 1992. In 1992, he moved to Helsingborg IF, where in he goaled 50 points in 56 appearances. He then moved to Feyenoord for four years and subsequently he joined the Celtic in 1997. He played for seven years in Celtic and won four league titles, in total he made 242 goals in 315 competitive matches for that team. In 2004 to 2006 he played for FC Barcelona, wherein he won two league titles and the Champions League with an outstanding performance in the UEFA Champions League. Larsson returned to his home club Helsingborg after his contract expiration in Barcelona, and in 2007 he was on loaned to Manchester United. In October 20, 2009 he announced his retirement from domestic football and also expressed his interest in coaching career.

He played very impressive and has scored at two World Cups in 1994 and 2002 and European Championships in 2000 and 2004. He was honored as “The Greatest Swedish football player of the last 50 years”, by the Swedish Football Association in 2004.
