Emre Belozoglu is a Turkey international football player who currently features for the Spanish club Atletico Madrid. He plays as a midfielder and is one of the most famous and successful Turkish footballers.
Emre commenced his professional club football career at Turkish giants Galatasaray in 1996 and played for them until 2001. He scored 14 goals in 102 league matches for the Istanbul club and won the Super Liga title four times, the UEFA Cup once and the UEFA Super Cup once.
His performances for Galatasaray in Europe earned him a move to Italian giants Inter Milan in 2001 and he played for the Nerazzurri for the next four years, scoring three goals in 78 Serie A matches. Emre moved to Newcastle United in 2005 and after three years moved back to his home country of Turkey, this time to play for Fenerbahce.

At Fenerbahce, Emre once again established himself as a top class player, scoring 12 goals in 103 league matches in the next five years, winning the Super Lig in 2011.
In May 2012 Atletico signed Emre on a two-year contract.
Emre made his international debut for Turkey against Norway in 2000 and has played close to 100 matches for his country.
