Daniel Emmanuel Luduena is a professional football player from Argentina who plays as a midfielder. A proud member of the Quecha race, a rare, native race indigenous to Argentina, Luduena is known as “El Hachita” or “The Little Axe” for his skillful play and attacking prowess in midfield.

Luduena was a product of the world class youth system in place at Club Atletico River Plate. Although he broke into the first team in 1998, Luduena barely got any playing time as a 16-year old mainly because he was behind some of the greats of Argentine and World football such as Santiago Solari, Pablo Aimar, Eduardo Berizzo, Marcelo Escudero, Juan Pablo Angel, Javier Saviola, Andres D’Alessandro and Esteban Cambiasso.

For Luduena, the appearances were limited to substitute appearances and in the 7 seasons that Luduena spent at the club, he ended up with 40 appearances and 2 goals to his name in all competitions.
In 2004, Luduena decided to move to Tecos UAG in the Mexican Primera Division where he was a regular starter with a keen eye for goal. In over 60 appearances for the team, Luduena scored 30 goals between 2004 and 2006, making a huge impact on the club’s performances during the time.

At the beginning of the 2007 season, Luduena decided to transfer to Santos Laguna and helped the team win the 2008 Clausura title. A prolific scorer, Luduena kept his high scoring rate intact with 43 goals in just over 90 games.
