Gianvito Plasmati

Gianvito Plasmati is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Catania. He plays as a striker.

Gianvito Plasmati commenced his professional club football at Ferrandina in 1999 and subsequently played for Matera, Virtus Locorotondo, Chieti, Brindisi, Ragusa and Andria BAT.

Gianvito Plasmati was signed by Catania on a joint ownership deal in July 2006. He was loaned out to Crotone in the Italian Serie B in August of the year. He returned to Catania in January 2007 and made his Italian Serie A debut against AS Roma in April 7,2007.

Plasmati played for Foggia for the second half of the 2007-2008 season after Foggia had bought the remainder of the player's share frm Andria BAT. Plasmati was recalled by Catania in the summer of 2008 for the 2008-2009 season.
