Mauro Minelli

Mauro Minelli is an Italian football player who is on the books of the Italian Serie A club Catania. He plays as a defender and has been loaned out to Italian Serie B club After failed to made any appearances in neither Coppa Italia or Serie A in 2007-08 season, he left on loan to Triestina.

Mauro Minelli commenced his professional club football career at Italian club Atalanta in 2000 and was officially on their books until 2002, although he played the 2001-2002 season on loan at Lumezzane.

Minelli was signed by Verona in January 2002 in a co-ownership deal. In the summer of 2004 he was signed back by Atalanta and was loaned out to AlbinoLeffe.

In the summer of 2005 AlbinoLeffe bought half of the player's rights but those were bought back by Atalanta again in the summer of 2006.

But almost immediately Catania bought half of the rights to Minelli and he made his Italian Serie A debut for them on October 1,2006 against Fiorentina. But he could not manage any appearance for Catania either in the Serie A or in Coppa Italia in the 2007-2008 season and was loaned out to Triestina for the 2008-2009 season.
