Cristian Nasuti has had a medal-laden career as a defender in his home country of Argentina. Starting his professional career with Atletico Platense, in 2001, he moved up from the Primera B Nacional division after River Plate spotted the immense talent in the youngster. So in 2003, he was a part of River Plate and in 2004, won the first of his two Primera Division Clausura titles with the giants.
In the 2005-06 season, Nasuti moved to Mexico where he joined Monarcas Morelia for a season where he played 50 times in all competition. Returning to River Plate, Cristian won his second Primera Division Clausura title in 2008 before he shifted clubs to Atletico Banfield.
