Federico Balzaretti is an Italian football player who currently features for the Italian Serie A club Palermo. He plays as a left back and is a regular for his club.
Federico Balzaretti developed at the youth academy of Turin side Torino and made his debut for them during the 2002-2003 season. He played on loan for Varese and then Siena and was signed by Italian giants Juventus in 2005. He went onto become a first team regular for Juve and featured in 56 leagues matches (including those played in the Italian Serie A and the Italian Serie B) and scored 2 goals in the process.
Federico Balzaretti played for Fiorentina in the first half of the 2007-2008 season and featured in 6 top flight league matches. He was signed by Palermo in January 2008 and has developed to be a regular for Palermo.
