Tony Stokes

Tony Ronald Stokes is a young English football player who currently features for the English Premier League club West Ham United. He plays as a midfielder and is said to be a hugely promising fooballer.

Tony Stokes is a graduate of the prestigious youth academy of West Ham and made his senior first team debut at the age of 18 in September 2005 when he came on as a substitute for Tomas Repka in the Carling Cup match against Sheffield Wednesday.

Tony Stokes was subsequently loaned out to Rushden & Diamonds, Brighton & Hove Albion and Stevenage Borough for garnering more experience and getting more playing time. He was quite impressive on his loan stints and has been drafted into the Wes Ham first team for the 2008-2009 season and is expected to show glimpses of his promise in the Premiership in 2008-2009.
