Thomas Sorensen is a Danish international football player who currently features for the English side Stoke City. He is a goalkeeper and a world class one too.
Thomas Sorenson made his debut for the Danish side Odense BK in 1994 and played for the side for four seasons but he never managed a single league match for the senior side.
Thomas Sorenson was signed by Sunderland in 1998 and it was at the Stadium of Light that he became a star. He played for the Black Cats until the end of the 2002-2003 season and made 171 league appearances.

Sorenson was signed by Aston Villa where he again performed to excellence, featuring 139 in the English Premier League.
In the summer of 2008 he was signed by Stoke City on a three-year deal.
Thomas Sorenson made his international debut for Denmark in 1999 and has gone onto play 72 times for his nation. He represented his nation at the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004.
