Vincenzo “Enzo” Maresca is an Italian footballer who currently features for the Spanish side Sevilla FC. He plays as a midfielder and is a regular for the Andalucians.
Enzo Maresca commenced his professional career at English side West Bromwich Albion in 1998 although he progressed through the youth teams of AC Milan and Cagliari in Italy. In 2000 he was signed by Italian and European giants Juventus but spent most of his time away from Turin in his five seasons at Juve on loan to fellow Italian clubs.
In 2005 Sevilla came calling and signed him for 2.5 million euros and helped the Seville win the 2006 UEFA Cup trophy and was even declared the man of the match in the final against Middlesbrough which Sevilla won 4-0. He also won the competition in 2007 and is now firmly established as one of the pillars of the Sevilla side.
