Diomansy Mehdi “Joe” Kamara is a France-born Senegalese international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Fulham. He plays as a striker.
Diomansy Kamara started his professional career at French side Red Star 93 in 1998 and played one season and just 4 league matches for the Parisian side. He joined Itlian Seri C2 club FC Catanzaro in 1999 and played for two seasons, scorong 9 goals in 34 league fixtures. He was then signed by Modena in 2001 and features for the Italian side with some distinction. He played in 81 league matches for Modena and scored 14 goals.
Portsmouth then came calling and signed Kamara in the summer of 2004. Kamara scored 4 goals in 25 Premier League appearances for Pompey before signing for Midlands club West Bromwich Albion in 2005, playing for two seasons and scoring a decent 25 goals in 60 league matches.
