Luis Fernando Díaz Marulanda, known as Luis Diaz, is a soccer player playing for Liverpool. He is a Colombia international winger.
Club Career
Luis Diaz played with Atletico Junior in his youth in Barranquilla, before joining Colombian Categoria Primera B side Barranquilla in 2016. He won Categoria Primera A with Atletico Junior in 2019.Shortly after that he was signed by Portuguese giants FC Porto for a reported 7 million euros. He spent three years with Porto, winning a range of individual prizes and team titles, including the Primeira Liga twice.
In January 2022, English powerhouse Liverpool swooped to sign Luis Diaz on a five-year deal for 45 million euros plus add-ons. He has impressed with the Reds, helping the side to several trophies and establishing himself as a regular.
