Luis Fernando Díaz Marulanda, known as Luis Diaz, is a soccer player playing for Liverpool. He is a Colombia international winger.
Club Career
Luis Diaz played with Atletico Junior in his youth in Barranquilla, before joining Colombian Categoria Primera B side Barranquilla in 2016. He won Categoria Primera A with Atletico Junior in 2019.
Shortly after that he was signed by Portuguese giants FC Porto for a reported 7 million euros. He spent three years with Porto, winning a range of individual prizes and team titles, including the Primeira Liga twice.

In January 2022, English powerhouse Liverpool swooped to sign Luis Diaz on a five-year deal for 45 million euros plus add-ons. He has impressed with the Reds, helping the side to several trophies and establishing himself as a regular.
International Career
Luis Diaz made his senior debut for Colombia in 2018. He was part of the Colombia side that reached the Copa America final in 2024 but lost to Argentina.
