Tim Krul is a Netherlands international football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Luton Town. He plays as a goalkeeper and is a first-choice at St James’ Park.
Club Career
Krul developed at the youth club of the Dutch side ADO Den Haag and signed for Newcastle United in July 2005 on a three-year deal. He made his debut for Newcastle in the UEFA Cup in November 2006 against Palermo. In June 2007 he signed a new four-year contract with Newcastle.
Krul played on loan for Scottish Premier League side Falkirk for the first half of the 2007-2008 season and featured in 22 Scottish Premier League matches. He played for Carlisle Unied again on loan in 2008-09, and following his return gradually established himself in the Magpies’ first team.

Krul left Norwich City for newly promoted Premier League club Luton Town in August 2023.
International Career
Krul made his international debut for the Netherlands against Brazil in a friendly international on June 4, 2011. He was part of the Dutch squad at Euro 2012.
