Chedwyn Michael “Ched” Evans is a young Welsh football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Manchester City. He plays as a striker and is said to be one of the talented players to have emerged out of Wales in recent times.
Ched Evans spent two years at Chester City’s youth academy from 2000 to 2002 and then in 2002 he joined the youth set-up at Manchester City. He spent five years at City youth academy and then made his debut for the senior side in 2007. Evans played the entire 2007-2008 season on loan at Norwich City and scored 10 goals in 28 league appearances. His good form and talent exhibited at Norwich City earned him a recall to the Man City first team for the 2008-2009 season.
Ched Evans made his international debut for Wales against Iceland in May 2008 and scored the winner in that match.
