Heurelho da Silva Gomes is a Brazilian football player who currently features for the English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. He is a goalkeeper and is a Brazilian international player too.
Heurelho Gomes made his debut in professional club football for Brazilian giants Cruzeiro in 2002 and played for them for two season, featuring in 59 matches.
Dutch side PSV Eindhoven signed Gomes in 2004 and the Brazilian instantly became the number one custodian for PSV. His outstanding reflexes, great presence in his penalty area, courage, passion and shot stopping abilities made him an instant favourite at the Philips Stadium and won four consecutive Dutch league title with the club. He kept a clean sheet in 60% of his Eredivisie matches.
