Alisson Ramsés Becker is a soccer player playing for Liverpool. He is a goalkeeper who also represents the Brazil national team.

Club Career

Rio Grande product Alisson emerged with Internacional in Brazil’s south, before moving to Italy to join AS Roma in his early 20s in 2016.

He became the side’s first choice goalkeeper in the 2016-17 season where he impressed. He was named in the Serie A Team of the Year and as the league’s Best Goalkeeper.

Liverpool moved to sign the Brazilian in 2018, who has since become the Reds’ number one shot-stopper, helping them win the 2018-19 UEFA Champions League and 2019-20 Premier League titles.

He has also become the top goalkeeper for his country, Brazil, winning awards such as the Best FIFA Goalkeeper in 2019.

In the 2021-22 season, Alisson won the Premier League’s Golden Glove award for the second time and was named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year for the first time. He was also part of the Liverpool side that reached the Champions League final.

International Career

Alisson debuted for Brazil in 2015. He won the Copa America in 2019. He has played for Brazil at both the 2018 and 2022 World Cup finals.
