Jack Christian Rodwell is a young England international football player who currently features for the English and European giants Manchester City. He is a versatile footballer who can play as a midfielder and a centre-back.
Rodwell made his debut for the Everton reserves when he was just 15 and since then has been singled out as a very promising player. He made his senior debut for Everton when he was just 16 years of age when he played against AZ Alkmaar in European football, becoming the youngest ever player to represent Everton in Europe.
Rodwell made his Premier League debut for Everton in March 2008 against Sunderland and signed his first professional contract with the club in March 2008. He went on to establish himself as a key player for the Toffees, scoring four goals in 84 league appearances.

In the summer of 2012 Manchester City came calling and signed him for £12 million on a five-year contract. Rodwell made his debut for the Citizens on August 19, 2012 in a 3-2 home victory over Southampton in the Premier League.
Rodwell made his international debut for England against Spain in a friendly international in November 2011 in a game that the Three Lions won 1-0.
