Club Career

Bissouma was born in Ivory Coast but moved to Mali as a 13-year-old to play for Real Bamako in his youth. He moved to France in 2016 to play for Lille after playing for Mali at the African Nations Championship.

He played Ligue 1 in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons with Lille, becoming a mainstay before Brighton & Hove Albion signed him for an undisclosed fee in July 2018 on a five-year deal.
