Jonny Evans is a Northern Ireland international football player who currently features for English and European giants Manchester United. He plays as a defender.
Evans developed at United’s youth system and has been on their books since 2006. He played for their feeder club Royal Antwerp in Belgium during the first half of the 2006-07 season on loan.
In January 2007 Evans returned to England to play for Sunderland for the remainder of the 2006-07 campaign. He played for United in the first half of the following season but went back to Sunderland in January 2008 and played for them until the end of the 2007-08 season.

Evans has been part of the United first team since then and has played regularly from time to time, winning the Premier League title in 2009, 2011 and 2013, the League Cup in 2009 and 2010 and the FA Community Shield in 2010, 2011 and 2013.
Evans made his debut for Northern Ireland against Spain in September 2006 in a game that they won 3-2. He has since gone on to make over 30 appearances for his country.
