Andreas Christensen is a soccer player playing for FC Barcelona.
He is a Danish centre-back, who came through Brondby’s youth ranks before joining Chelsea in 2012. Christensen spent a decade with the Blues, although he was loaned out to Borussia Moenchengladbach in Germany for two seaons from 2015 to 2017.
Christensen returned to Chelsea, but never managed to become first choice, although he was part of numerous successes, including their 2020-21 UEFA Champions League triumph where he replaced Thiago Silva as a substitute in the first half.
In July 2022, Christensen left Chelsea to join Barcelona on a four-year deal.
