Andre Biyogo Poko

Andre Ivan Biyogo Poko is a professional football player from Gabon who plays as a midfielder. Andre was picked up by a local club in his home town of Bitam, in Gabon, which is one of the largest football clubs in that country, and was placed in its youth setup. Poko quickly made his mark as one of the top players in the academy and by the age of 16, had broken into their first team.

Poko got into the first team in 2009 and by 2011, had established himself as one of the most prolific players in the side. He got noticed by the scouting team at FC Girondins de Bordeaux, who brought in the youngster in 2011. Poko was already playing for the Gabonese national team at this point, having made his debut in 2010. He had earned 8 caps for his country and that was the main thing that brought him to France.

Despite being picked by Bordeaux, Poko was forced to start playing in the reserve line-up. He started for the Bordeaux B-Team instead and has played 2 games for the side since signing up with them.
