Oussama Assaidi

Oussama Assaidi is a Morocco international football player who currently features for the English and European giants Liverpool. He plays as a winger and is rated as one of the best African players plying their trade in Europe.

Assaidi commenced his professional club football career at FC Omniworld in 2006 and after three goals in 36 league appearances in two years with the Dutch club, he joined De Graafschap in 2008.

He played for one season for them and was snapped up by Heerenveen in 2009. Assaidi established himself as a first-team regular for the Dutch giants and scored 20 goals in 79 league appearances in three years.

In the summer of 2012 Liverpool signed Assaidi from Heerenveen for a reported transfer fee of £2.4 million.

Assaidi made his international debut for Morocco in their 4-0 victory over Niger in a friendly international in February 2011 and has scored one goal in eight matches for his country so far.
