A professional footballer from Brazil, Fabio Aves Felix, otherwise known as Fabinho, plays as a midfielder. Having started his playing career at Sao Caetano in 1998, at the youth level, Fabinho made his first team debut in 2000, although it was with the Corinthians. Over the next 6 seasons, Fabinho established himself as a strong contender for a starting spot and ended up playing almost 120 games for the team, scoring 10 goals in that period.
In 2005, he made the surprise move to Japan, signing up with Cerezo Osaka and played 23 games for the side, scoring seven goals.
His profile, however, didn’t gain many brownie points because he was back in Brazil, playing with Santos in 2006. That season, however, Fabinho became extremely influential on the pitch and was picked up by French side, Toulouse. From 2006 to 2009, Fabinho spent time at Toulouse but did come back to Corinthians, in 2008-09, for a loan spell. During that loan spell, he started almost every game for the Brazilian club but only managed 39 appearances for the French side during his tenure.
In 2009-10, after returning from France, Fabinho signed up with Cruzeiro and was, once again, a regular starter with the team. He tried another stint in Japan, with Yokohama FC, in 2011 but was sent on loan to Esporte Clube Bahia after just four games.
