Fabio Borini is an Italy international football player who currently features for the English and European giants Liverpool. He can play as a winger and as a striker and is regarded as one of the most promising young players in Europe.
Borini developed at Bologna’s youth academy between 2001 and 2007, and moved to England to join Chelsea’s youth system in 2007. He rose through the ranks at Stamford Bridge and made his first-team debut for the Blues against Tottenham Hotspur in a Premier League game on September 20.
Borini was on the books of Chelsea until 2011, during which he played for Swansea City on loan, scoring six goals in nine league appearances.

In July 2011, Parma signed Borini from Chelsea and he was immediately loaned out to Roma for the 2011-12 season for €1.25 million. The Italian youngster was impressive for the Italian club, scoring nine goals in 24 Serie A matches.
In June 2012 Roma signed Borini from Parma on a permanent contract before selling him to Liverpool the following month for €13.3 million.
Borini made his international debut for Italy on February 29, 2012 against the USA in a friendly international. He was part of the Azzurri squad for the Euro 2012 finals.
