Jens Hegeler is a football player of Germany and is currently playing for Bundesliga side 1.FC Nuremberg as a defender and midfielder.
Hegeler commenced his career with SV Westhoven in 1993. He moved to SpVgg Porz after two years. After three years he left Porz after being scouted by 1.FC Koln in the year 1998. He remained with the same club for six years and later moved to VFL Leverkusen. He also got opportunities to play with other teams including Bayer Leverkusen. He is considered to be one of the keen players in Nuremberg’s successful squad and plays in almost every successful matches of the season.
Hegeler has represented the National team of Germany in U-21 category. In 2007 he was honored as a German A-Youth Champion which is one of the remarkable achievements of Hegeler.
