David Olatukunbo Alaba is a professional football player playing for FC Bayern Munich team. This is an Austrian international football player, who plays at a position of a left or central midfielder. Moreover, he has even played for Austria team at U-17 and U-21 level. By October 2009, he was called up to play for the senior Austria national football team against France. He made his debut in this game, and was known as the youngest player in the history of any national team.
David began his career with the team of SV Aspern prior to joining the youth setup of Austrian giants, Austria Vienna at the age of 10. At the age of 17, he made his UEFA Champions League debut against the team of ACF Fiorentina on 9 March 2010.
Career Highlights
In 2009-10, David won the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal other than being the runner up of UEFA Champions League. In 2010, he won the DFL Supercup and the following year, he was awarded the Austrian Footballer of the year.
