Miguel Washington Ibarra Tixe is a professional football player who is best known for being a defender of Barcelona, although he is officially signed with Universidad Catolica. Ibarra was born on September 8, 1984 in New York City, United States, and for being a member of Ecuador’s national team.
When Ibarra was younger, he started his career as a member of ESPOLI’s youth team. After four years with the youth team, Ibarra was promoted and was soon a part of ESPOLI’s senior team. During his six year stint with ESPOLI, Ibarra was able to play in 162 games, and was soon recognized by the rest of the football world.
In 2010, Ibarra was tapped by Universidad Catolica to be a part of their club. Ibarra agreed and signed on, where he was soon playing in 25 games before he was loaned to Barcelona Sporting Club.
