Pantelis Kapetanos
Pantelis Kapetanosimage:Pantelis Kapetanos Greece|Pantelis Kapetanos Greece is a Greek football player who plays for Steaua Bucuresti, a Romanian club as a striker. Apart from this team, he also plays for the Greece national football team. He started his career in Greece and played for teams like AEK Athens, Kozani and Iraklis team, with whom he competed in the UEFA Champions League.
Whilst with the Iraklis team, he played from 2002 to 2006 and with AEK Athinai team, from 2006 to 2008. He was called by the team coach for the first time to play at the international friendly match held against Senegal team. Other than that, he was also included in the 2010 FIFA World cup in the squad, where he got a chance to make his World Cup debut in a group stage match held against South Korea.
With Steaua Bucuresti team, he played on a free transfer basis for one season, which was on contract basis. In the first season at this club, he was the top scorer with Bogdan Stancu, scoring 11 goals. The team board extended the contract for two years, and Pantwlis finished the 2009-10 season as the leading scorer in Liga I, with 15 goals and in all of the competitions with 19 goals.
