The UEFA Nations League is an biennial international competition that is organized in the continent of Europe by the Union of European Football Associates (UEFA) and competed in by men’s European national football teams.
The tournament is split into four different leagues, with four different groups in the top three leagues and two groups of three in the fourth league. The UEFA Nations League was founded in 2018 to reduce the number of friendly matches to generate more competitive matches to increase TV viewership and ticket sales.
