Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson insists his side won’t become complacent despite moving 15 points clear at the summit of the Premier League on Saturday.
The Red Devils’ 1-0 victory over Reading, thanks to Wayne Rooney’s deflected strike, moved them clear after second-placed Manchester City had lost 2-0 to Everton earlier in the day.
“You don’t get points or medals for complacency and we won’t be,” Ferguson said.
“It is a great position to be in but the only thing we can do now is win our next game.
“The team has shown great consistency, a lot of great football and our goal difference over City is big now, 13 goals.”
