On November 17, Zlatan Ibrahimovic became historic as he won his third Golden Ball Trophy which is awarded by the Swedish Football Association to the nation’s best football player of the year. >
Ibrahimovic has a had a fabulous year and is also a contender to the Ballon d’Or trophy awarded to the best player in European leagues.
When asked if he is now the best Swedish player in history he laughs while he admits that this is probably the case. He says Henrik Larsson is the player with the most experience, but that himself and Larsson are indeed the two most dominant Swedish players in European top leagues, even in comparison with the successful Gre-No-Li trio that played in Italy during the 1950s.
Zlatan is not very impressed with two-time Golden Ball winner Ralf Edström, who critized him for poor sportsmanship on TV, and said that he would welcome Edström to become his gardener at his new house in Malmoe.
