Real Madrid central defender Sergio Ramos has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against Inter Milan on Wednesday evening.

Madrid got the better of Inter 2-0 away from home at San Siro in Champions League Group B.

The Serie A outfit were on the backfoot after just seven minutes when Belgium international attacking midfielder Eden Hazard put Madrid 1-0 ahead from the penalty spot.

Nicolo Barella was adjudged to have committed a foul on Nacho, and former Chelsea star Hazard, who can also play as a winger, made no mistake from the penalty spot.

Inter went down to 10 men on 33 minutes when Arturo Vidal was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Achraf Hakimi scored an own goal in the 59th minute, as Spanish and European giants Madrid won 2-0.

The result means that Madrid are now second in Champions League Group B with seven points from four matches, a point behind leaders Borussia Monchengladbach and three points ahead of third-placed Shakhtar Donetsk, while Inter are at the bottom of the table with two points from four matches.

Madrid defender Ramos has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the win for his side against Inter.

When translated from Spanish, the message reads: “Important game, important victory, important step. Let’s go!”
