If Manchester United can sign Jadon Sancho it’ll be the statement of the summer.

According to reports, first seen in The Sun, the Red Devils have already agreed terms with the England international and now need to meet Borussia Dortmund’s asking price.

Massive

Jadon Sancho will take home around a million pounds per month for Manchester United, who’ll prove that they are above the rest of the world when it comes to financing big deals.

Say what you want about the Glazers’ takeover of the Old Trafford club, but it’s sent their commercial operations through the roof and transformed their ability to weather tough time and come out of it smiling.

Nobody else in the world could finance this deal, which will run into the hundreds of millions of pounds.

Prodigy

Sancho has been in incredible form ever since he left Manchester City for Dortmund - which poses its own questions about the internal talent-spotting process at City - and his transfer saga could now be at an end.

On the field, it’ll transform United from a team with decent but inconsistent form into someone that can put the frights up the best defences in the land.

With Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes and Sancho to call on, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s forward options will be one of the best in the Premier League and the envy of the city.

Prodigal

99 games in Germany have yielded 34 goals and 43 assists, while this season saw Sancho return 17 goals and 17 assists. Those are incredible numbers for a 20-year-old, who will return to England riding on the back of a wave he created through sheer brilliance.

It’ll be just shy of three years ago that a 17-year-old nobody left the City academy and went into adult football for the first time. Sancho is returning to Manchester, but he’ll be making a statement for the red half, not the blue.
