Jadon Sancho is a soccer player playing for Borussia Dortmund on loan from Manchester United. He is an England international winger.
Club Career
Sancho spent his youth career with Watford (2007 to 2015) and Manchester City (2015 to 2017), but switched to Germany in 2017 to join Dortmund for a reported 8 million pounds.
Sancho initially played for Dortmund II but quickly graduated to the first team, making 12 Bundesliga appearances in the 2017-18 season. He rose rapidly from there, playing regularly across the next three campaigns for BVB, including netting 20 goals in all competitions in 2019-20.

He helped Dortmund win the 2020-21 DFB-Pokal, while individually he was named Bundesliga Player of the Month three times and in the Bundesliga Team of the Season twice (2018-19 and 2019-20).
In July 2021, Manchester United landed Sancho on a five-year deal with the option of a further season for 73 million pounds. Sancho, however, underwhelmed at Old Trafford and was largely used off the bench, with his goals drying up.
In September 2023, Sancho was exiled from first-team training after a public war of words with manager Erik ten Hag. In January 2024, United farmed Sancho out on loan back to Dortmund.
International Career
Sancho played at England U16, U17 and U19 level and made his senior England debut in 2018 as a teenager. He was part of England’s squad at Euro 2020, coming on late in the final loss to Italy, seeing his penalty in the shootout saved. He missed out on selection for the 2022 World Cup.
